Delete branch "docs/linux-benchmarks-5f5e4957"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Part of #405 (the "re-run the full cross-terminal suite on a quiet host" item).
Republishes the Linux section of
docs/reference/benchmarks.mdand its charts from a fresh full run at5f5e4957(nix build .#felis), replacing the9d1d842ffigures. The macOS section is untouched.Run.
crossterm.py runover all eight suites and the full field,ROUNDS=3with rotated order, the published page's pins (DejaVu Sans Mono 14 pt, 106x35 cells). The CI runner was stopped for the whole run (16:17-18:10); load started at 1.61. The Windows CI guest stayed up. Every leg completed in every round: no refused, unfinished, unpinned or retried legs. What moved.
scrolling_fullscreen(6.2 against foot's 6.8 ms, ranges apart). #400 stays open (see the comment there).long_lines667 MB/s (was 552). kittenbench ASCII 446 and CSI 142 MB/s now lead ghostty-tip. DOOM-fire 2,954 fps (was 2,632).catunicode/csi 0.80/0.74 s.Kept on the page. foot's vtebench legs follow ghostty-tip's in every round and start while the one-minute average is 10-14. ghostty-tip's ~1 s latency is still a redraw delay and not seen in the 1.3.1 release.
Verified: every figure came from the harness's
report.md(per-round artifacts checked for the prose claims);just prose-checkclean; treefmt applied. pi-review (sol): PASS, with one non-blocking wording fix applied.5f5e4957
