    Downloads

    • Linux (x86_64): felis-x86_64-linux.tar.gz. Unpack it anywhere and run bin/felis.
    • macOS (Apple silicon): felis-aarch64-darwin.tar.gz. Before the first run, clear the quarantine flag: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine <directory>. Then run bin/felis or open felis.app.
    • Windows (x86_64): felis-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip. Unpack its three executables into one directory on your PATH and run felis.exe.
    • Nix: nix run github:felis-terminal/felis/v0.1.1. The flake offers prebuilt binaries from https://nix-cache.natsukium.com.
    • Homebrew (macOS Apple silicon, Linux x86_64): brew install felis-terminal/tap/felis.

    These three platforms are supported. ARM64 Linux (aarch64-linux) builds from source through the flake but is not supported.

    felis.proto and felis-config.schema.json are the IPC wire schema and the config schema of this build, for tools that talk to felis or validate its config.

    • Platform: a Homebrew tap installs felis with prebuilt bottles on macOS (Apple silicon) and Linux (x86_64):
      brew install felis-terminal/tap/felis.

    Fixed

    • Sessions recognize TERM=xterm-felis in a macOS window opened from Finder, or any launch that bypasses bin/felis:
      felis.app carries the terminfo entry, and on Unix the daemon prepends the entry shipped beside it (the bundle's, or
      the install prefix's share/terminfo) to every session's TERMINFO_DIRS.
