serve --session-id N parses N as decimal, but felis attach <id> takes a hex id or prefix. For N >= 10 the documented felis --socket <path> attach <session-id> (docs/reference/cli.md, README, skills/fcast) therefore names a different id. serve itself prints the correct full hex id on startup. Either parse --session-id as hex, like every felis id, or document that the printed attach line is the one to use.
